"I had the pleasure of meeting Jake ahead of a production we were doing in 2024. When looking through his resume, we realized he was someone we very much wanted on our shoot and would be lucky to get, so we were happy when he said "Yes." Meeting Jake at PC&E with my cinematographer Naeem put both our minds at ease right away, as Jake was very professional and friendly, while exhibiting the kind of quiet, calm confidence that you want in a key crew member. Cut to the shoot which was 100% Steadicam. He and our 1st AC Alec had a telepathic communication, and there were zero blown shots due to camera, and a few that would have been blown by actors missing their marks were largely saved by Jake and Alec's reflexive inability to fail.
